Minnesota State Chancellor Devinder Malhotra intends to make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees for the appointment of the next president for Riverland Community College on Wednesday, April 19. The meeting schedule is below:

• At 9:30 a.m., the Workforce and Organizational Effectiveness Committee will meet and the Chancellor will make his recommendation for the president
• At 10:00 a.m., the Board of Trustees will convene to confirm the appointment of the president at which time the individual will address the board.

In addition, the Chancellor will visit the all three campuses to present the president-designate to the community on Wednesday, April 19 (Owatonna) and Thursday, April 20 (Austin and Albert Lea). 

We encourage the public and the media to attend. There will be a short program followed by a Meet and Greet.

• Owatonna Campus, in the Commons from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 20, 2023--

• Austin Campus, East Building in the Library from 10 to 11 a.m.
• Albert Lea Campus, Transportation, Trades, and Industrial Education Center Commons (located on the lower level) from 2 to 3 p.m.
