In order to eliminate barriers, we take appropriate measure to assess each student's ability to participate and benefit through placement testing and counseling. Based on the assessment and counseling, student are then provided with campus services or a referral to community services to be better prepared for successful participation.
Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students to earn college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college-level courses.
The Registrar's Office processes admission applications, registration and transfer transactions, transfer and graduation evaluations, advising services, grades, transcript requests and maintains all permanent records.
A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. Scholarship money is not required to be repaid.
We offer housing on campus. This is an advantage to students just arriving in the U.S. Then they don’t have to search for an apartment as soon as they arrive on campus.

At Riverland Community College, the Veterans Resource Center is located on the Austin Campus in the West Building, Room A175. This space is staffed once weekly by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs Higher Education Veterans Program Southeast Regional Coordinator. The Center is open whenever the campus is open, and is a space for Veterans to spend time with other veterans, to feel comfortable in their surroundings, and to help transition back to civilian life.
