Payment Methods

Ways to Pay:  

• Cash/Check/Cards 

  • Pay in person at the Riverland Bookstore on the Austin campus, East building, or in Student Services on the Albert Lea campus. 
  • Pay by mail:  1900 8th Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912 
  • Pay in eServices using a Credit or Debit card 
  • Pay in eServices by entering your banking information (eCheck) 

• Semester Payment Plans 

  • Administered by Nelnet (FACTS) 
  • Plans open for online enrollment up to 12 to 15 weeks prior to the start of each semester 
  • Online enrollment for plans closes 4 weeks after the start of the term 
  • To establish a payment plan after the online enrollment period, email businessoffice@riverland.edu  

Simple Steps to Enroll 

• Go to www.riverland.edu 
• Select E-Services Login under the My Riverland drop down located top right and Log in 
• Go to Bills and Payment and Select Payment Plan 

FINANCIAL AID:  

Note:  Financial aid is applied to students’ accounts, for the first time, on the 11th day of the term. 

• FAFSA 

  • Federal & State Grants, you qualify for through the FAFSA, will apply to your account automatically 
  • Federal Direct Loans, you qualify for through the FAFSA, need to be requested through eServices 

• Scholarships 

  • Scholarships are submitted to the Riverland Financial Aid Department from the sponsoring organization 
  • The student is responsible for ensuring that all requirements are completed, and the award is received 

• Employer Vouchers 

  • Tuition vouchers are submitted to the Riverland Business Office from the issuing employer 
  • The student is responsible for ensuring that all requirements are completed, and the voucher is received 

• Veterans Benefits (Veterans Resource Center) 

  • Apply for Veterans Education Benefits 
  • Apply for Federal Tuition Assistance (active duty, including National Guard)
