Total Withdraw Tuition Refund Policy

Withdrawing From Courses and Refunds

If you withdraw from a course, your transcript will show a grade of “W.” This does not change your GPA, but it stays on your record.

If you withdraw from all your courses during fall or spring semester, refunds follow the schedule below. During the first five class days, you get a 100 percent refund of tuition and fees.

Refund schedule for total withdrawal during fall and spring semesters

Date of Total Withdrawal Semester Refund
6th–10th day of term 75% refund
11th–15th day of term 50% refund
16th–20th day of term 25% refund
After the 20th day of term 0% refund

Important

You must complete the official withdrawal process. The college does not assign a “W” if you do not withdraw.

If you receive federal financial aid and you withdraw from all courses or stop attending before 60% of the term, you may have to repay part of your aid. If you stop attending without notifying the college, your instructors will report your last date of attendance and you will receive “FW” grades. For steps and details, visit Withdrawing From a Course.
