Certificate
Many programs offer Technical Certificates requiring 30 or fewer credits. They serve students who have an immediate career goal.
Certificates are typically not designed for transfer. Programs awarding certificates do so to certify graduates in specific skill area. Certificates may be awarded for successful completion of a program intended to provide students with entry-level employment skills. Other certificates may be awarded to enhance or raise a students technical skills to an advanced level of performance. Typically, these programs are one or two semesters in length.
