Associate of Applied Science Degree
The Associate of Applied Science Degree will be awarded to students completing an approved program offered at Riverland Community College.
This program will include no less than 15 semester credits of general education courses. At least three credits are required within each goal areas: Goal 1 Communications, Goals 3 & 4 Natural Sciences and Mathematics/Logical Reasoning, Goal 5 History and the Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Goal 6 Humanities and Fine Arts as identified within the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum requirements. ENGL1101 is a degree requirement. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 is required for graduation from Riverland Community College.
Credit residency requirements must be met. A minimum of 20 credits from the 60 required credits must be taken from Riverland Community College. If credits from other Minnesota State institutions are transferred to Riverland, a minimum of 12 credits must be taken from Riverland Community College.
