Approved, Certified, and Accredited Programs

Riverland offers several programs that are approved, certified, or accredited by professional organizations and licensing boards. This page provides a quick overview of those programs and the agencies that recognize them.

Automotive Service Technology

This program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), and instructors are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Carpentry Technology

This program is certified by the Home Builders Institute.

Cosmetology

This program is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

Nursing (LPN Track)

The Practical Nursing program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and is in candidacy for accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Nursing (RN Track)

The Riverland Nursing Program is approved by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Web Developer

This program includes WOW Web Professional Academy Certification through the World Organization of Webmasters.
