Spirit Week Medallion Hunt

Get ready for some campus fun! Blue Devil medallions are hiding in all four campus buildings during Spirit Week, and one golden medallion in each building comes with a bookstore gift card!

Spirit Week: Monday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Oct. 4. The hunt is optional and free. See the full Spirit Week schedule.

How It Works

  • Medallions are hidden in all four campus buildings: Austin East, Austin West, Albert Lea, and Owatonna.
  • Look for the round Blue Devil medallions marked “You are a WINNER!”
  • One GOLDEN medallion is hidden in each building and is worth a bookstore gift card.
  • Finding a medallion also checks off a square on your Spirit Week BINGO card.

Where to Claim Your Prize

Flip your medallion over to see where to trade it in:

  • Austin East: Library
  • Austin West: Copy Center
  • Albert Lea: Student Services
  • Owatonna: Main Office

Rules

  • The bookstore and second level of the library in Austin East are off limits.
  • Only one prize per student is allowed.

Faculty and Staff

  • Separate medallions are hidden just for faculty and staff.
  • Found one? Email a selfie with it to Jennifer.Branchaud@riverland.edu by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, then return the medallion to Jennifer.
  • One prize per person. Prizes go out the week after Spirit Week.
