Get your Blue Devil spirit on!
A week of dress-up days, free food, prize hunts, and giving back on every campus.
Everything is optional. Join in as much or as little as you like. No need to buy a thing.

All week long
Medallion Hunts
Blue Devil medallions are hiding in all four campus buildings. Find one, win a prize!
Students Each building has one golden medallion worth a bookstore gift card.
Rules and prize pickup
- Off limits: the bookstore and the 2nd level of the Austin East library.
- Flip your medallion to see where to claim your prize.
- Austin East: Library. Austin West: Copy Center. Albert Lea: Student Services. Owatonna: Main Office.
- One prize per student.
Faculty & Staff Separate medallions are hidden for you.
- Email a selfie with it to Jennifer.Branchaud@riverland.edu by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2.
- Return the medallion to Jennifer. One prize per person, given out the next week.

Students Print your card, join the fun, and fill your squares by Sunday, Oct. 4.

Door Decorating Contest
Faculty & Staff Deck your door in Riverland Spirit and fall fun, Sept. 28 and 29. Use supplies you already have.
Done decorating? Email a photo of your door to christine.brown@riverland.edu by end of day Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Students Vote for your favorite once a day, Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. Scan the QR code on any decorated door or vote online.
Winner announced in The Current on Oct. 12.
Riverland Gives Back: Give One
Everyone Pick one, or none. Giving back does not have to cost money. Look for the blue heart stations on campus.
Give One Item
Drop a food item, personal care item, or school supply at your campus pantry.
Give One Hour
Volunteer, help someone, or do an act of service.
Give One Kind Message
Encourage or thank a student, faculty, or staff member.
Share your give online or scan the QR code at any blue heart station, so we can celebrate what Riverland did together.

Everyone Dress up: PJs or comfy clothes (campus-appropriate).
Students Free pizza on every campus, plus BINGO in Austin!
Faculty & Staff Dip-Dip Hooray: bring a dip to share. Sign-up is in The Current.
Everyone Share Some Encouragement at a blue heart station, or write your message online.

- Owatonna: Lunchroom, 12 to 1 p.m.
- Albert Lea: Main entrance, 12 to 1 p.m.
- Austin West: Cafeteria, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (with BINGO)
- Austin East: Main Street, 12 to 1 p.m. (with BINGO)
Tuesday: Tacky Tuesday
September 29
Everyone Dress up: wild, wacky, mismatched, or tacky!
Students Pumpkin painting in Austin and cookies in Albert Lea and Owatonna.
Faculty & Staff Last day to decorate your door and email a photo to christine.brown@riverland.edu, by end of day.
Everyone Give One Item Day: if you are able, drop one item at your campus pantry. No purchase expected. Then tell us you gave.

Everyone Dress up: pick a decade and dress the part!
Everyone Future Alumni Event: sweet treats, prizes, and Guess the Decade with old yearbook photos. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Foundation Office, Austin West.
Students Grill out in Albert Lea, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Students Door voting opens. Scan the QR code on any decorated door. Vote once a day through Friday.
Everyone Words of Wisdom: what would you tell your younger self? Students, employees, and alumni can share at a blue heart station or share your advice online.
Thursday: Flannel Day
October 1
Everyone Dress up: your favorite flannel or plaid!
Students Root beer floats in Austin and Albert Lea.
Students Tie-dye on all campuses.
Everyone Riverland Shout-Out: who makes Riverland a better place? Thank them at a blue heart station or give a shout-out online.

No Spirit Week activities. Rest up for Sunday!

Sunday: Crazy Athletic Wear Day
October 4
Everyone Dress up: your craziest athletic outfit, or come as you are.
Everyone Run the River 3K/5K at Wescott Field. Run, walk, or dance!
- 1 p.m. Food and activities
- 2 p.m. Blue Devils soccer
- Food truck and warm goodies to purchase
