Grace Wobbrock

GraceWhat was your program of study at Riverland?  When did you attend?
I did the AA program while doing PSEO. I attended from 2016-2018.

What is your career/job now?
I am a college student but I also work at Viracon and as a barista to pay for school.

How did the program help you prepare for the career you are in now?
Pseo was super helpful heading to college. I was able to finish all of my generals with no expense on my part and was able to fast track my way through school.

What were some of the positive outcomes of attending Riverland?
See above and it helped me gain a sense of independence while still being at home and in high school.

What would you tell others who may be considering Riverland for their education?
It’s definitely worth considering. I’ve heard it’s great for vocational studies but I 100% recommend the pseo track to everyone in high school I talk to.

Was there a faculty and staff person who made an impact on you while you were at Riverland?
Yeah. Sue Hagen, who has since retired, was awesome. She was who I wanted to be when I got old essentially. She made me a very good paper writer.
