Electronics I & II Program. September 1963 to June 1966.
What is your career/job now?
Retired from IBM with 36 years of service as an Remote Advanced Customer Engineer!
How did the program help you prepare for the career you are in now?
It helped me get a great job in the field I wanted to be in for the rest of my life with IBM. I was also approached by staff to apply for an instructor’s job in the Electronics Department at Riverland Technical College after graduation.
What were some of the positive outcomes of attending Riverland?
Educated me in the field of the Electronic World and was able to secure a career job with IBM.
What would you tell others who may be considering Riverland for their education?
That Riverland College is a great place to get an education in a vocation of your choice.
Was there a faculty and staff person who made an impact on you while you were at Riverland?
Yes, there were three of them! My first year instructor, Mr. Raymond and my second year instructors, Mr. Beck and Mr. Welch
