Riverland's Accounting AAS is the most comprehensive accounting credential we offer -- 60 credits, four semesters, and entirely online. Riverland offers accounting credentials at several levels -- from a two-semester certificate to this two-year AAS. The AAS covers the most ground, including cost accounting, intermediate accounting, and an ACAT exam prep capstone, and it qualifies you for the broadest range of roles. Here's a quick comparison. Accounting is a stable, in-demand field with strong opportunities across southern Minnesota. Nationally, accountants and auditors earn a median wage of $81,680 per year, and the field is projected to grow 5% through 2034 -- faster than many occupations.
