Riverland offers more than one path into the trucking industry. You can choose a full certificate program or a shorter accelerated CDL training option based on your career goals, schedule, and training needs.

The trucking industry continues to need qualified drivers. Riverland’s training prepares students for careers in commercial driving with hands-on instruction, safety training, vehicle knowledge, and preparation for CDL testing.

Certificate Program

22 credits

Riverland’s truck driving certificate is a full training program that covers a wide range of CDL vehicle types, including double trailer, commercial bus, and snow plow.

Program Highlights

  • 400 hours of training
  • Classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction
  • 12-week program
  • Class A and Class B training
  • Includes endorsement preparation for passenger, school bus, tanker, hazardous materials, and doubles/triples
