Ag Food Science Exploration (AFSE) Day
Register for the 2025 Agriculture and Food Science Exploration (AFSE) Day!
Mower County 4-H, Riverland Community College, and Nexus Cooperative have partnered to offer the 4th Annual AFSE Day on Wednesday, July 9th. This program is for youth in grades 6+ and is a great opportunity for anyone interested in agriculture and food science careers.
What to Expect:
- Local farm tours to learn about agronomy and animal science
- Corn/Alfalfa/Drone Field Activities
- Animal science activities
- Learn about agriculture and human nutrition at the Hormel Institute
- Hands-on food science lab with the Hormel Foods Research and Development team
- Program Graduation Ceremony
