Future Maverick Iowa Pathway
The Iowa pathway is specifically designed for students who originate from Iowa, enroll at Riverland, declare an intent to transfer to MSU, and then transfer to MSU.
- Participating students will develop a plan of study to complete an Associate Degree at Riverland Community College.
- Iowa students who complete an Associate Degree at Riverland will be assured for guaranteed to receive two years of in-state tuition at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Expectations
What can you expect if you participate in the Future Maverick Program?
- Once Students will develop a plan of study to complete their Associate Degree at Riverland Community College, they will consult with a Minnesota State University, Mankato advisor to ensure that their plan also meets the requirements for their bachelor's degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
- Students may be admitted to both institutions simultaneously. With joint admissions, students are already students at Minnesota State University, Mankato upon transfer from Riverland Community College, if they meet requirements. Students may also concurrently enroll in courses at both institutions and have access to advising and other services at both institutions.
- Iowa students that complete an associate degree at Riverland will be guaranteed to receive two years of in-state tuition at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
