Transfer Appeal Process and Steps

The appeals process involves:

  1. Completion of the Transfer Evaluation Appeal form.
  2. Documentation to support the appeal (course syllabus, textbook, course description, etc.).
  3. Review of documentation by Academic Dean and Registrar.
  4. Notification of the outcome will be emailed to the student's account within 21 days of the date the petition was received.

Further Appeal to Senior Vice Chancellor

Students that are not satisfied with the transfer appeal decision may appeal to the Senior Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs at the system level.

The Senior Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs shall make a final determination regarding disposition of the appeal. The decision of the Senior Vice Chancellor shall be binding on all system college and university parties.
