Note: For family units with more than 12 members, add:

These figures represent 150% of the federal poverty level, as defined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, effective January 11, 2024.

For family units with more than eight members, add the following amount for each additional family member: $8,070 (48 states), $10,095 (Alaska), and $9,285 (Hawaii).

A low-income individual is one whose family's taxable income for the previous year did not exceed 150% of the poverty level. These figures represent 150% of the Census Bureau's poverty thresholds as published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on January 17, 2024.
