Loan Periods
Items borrowed from the Riverland Libraries vary according to the type of material.

Fines
Daily fines are not charged for Riverland-owned books, videos, or audiobooks. However, replacement costs and processing fees will be charged if items are not returned.
Overdue notices are sent to your Riverland email account as a reminder.
Course reserve loan periods are established by the faculty member placing the item on reserve. A daily fine is charged for overdue course reserve items.
Renewing Materials
Not all library materials can be renewed. The loan period information above outlines which materials are eligible.
Renewals can be made by:
- Calling the library
- Emailing the library
- Visiting the library and speaking with staff
Renewals are not always allowed for Resource Sharing (Interlibrary Loan) materials.
Course reserve materials cannot be renewed.
