Associate in Science Degree (AD) Nursing Program Outcomes

The nursing department at Riverland Community College is pleased to inform students, faculty, and the community about the program outcomes for its Associate in Science (AD) degree nursing program. Several major outcomes are regularly monitored in order to continually improve the nursing programs at Riverland Community College: graduate completion rate, NCLEX-RN (licensure) pass rates, and job placement rate. The Associate in Science degree nursing program is offered at the West campus in Austin, MN. We offer advanced standing for to LPNs when they enter the Associate in Science degree program.

Graduate Completion Rate

• The graduate completion rate is the percent of students completing the Associate Degree Nursing program.

Graduate Completion Rates (per graduating cohort)

• The graduate completion rate is the percent of students completing the Associate Degree Nursing program.

NCLEX-RN Licensure Pass Rate

• The NCLEX-RN pass rate is the percent of graduates who pass the national RN licensure examination on their first attempt.

Job Placement Rate

• The job placement rate is the percent of graduates who find employment as an RN within 6-12 months after graduation.
