About Marie

I teach in both the English and ESLA programs at Riverland. In each course I teach, I believe it is important to meet individual student needs. Furthermore, I continually create new and varied assignments and activities to interest and challenge my students. I constantly stay current with the latest trends in my pedagogy and keep classes student centered. I endeavor to incorporate technology to stimulate student learning. To remain successful, I sustain my teaching through frequent professional development. I am also the Writing Center Director, where I, along with my student tutors, help students in all disciplines become more effective and more confident writers.
