Description
Assist The Hormel Foundation Austin Assurance Scholarship (THFAAS) advisors with various tasks, including but not limited to: interpretation English/Spanish for students and their families needing assistance. Help THFAAS advisors plan multicultural events both for current Riverland students and students at Austin High School and Pacelli. Create marketing materials using Canva and strategize on how to deliver marketing messages to students and their families. Engage student on THFAAS Social Media (Instagram Facebook, Linkedin). Be a peer contact for incoming multicultural and multilingual students and current students for THFAAS. Cross-training for Student Affairs tasks as needed such as interpreting, scanning and auditing student papers and files.
Skills
Bilingual or highly proficient in English/Spanish, Interest in cross-cultural communication, Public Speaking, event planning, attention to detail, confidentiality, promptness, and respectful.
