Description
Employee would be expected to report to the diesel shop area/department outside of their regular class hours as arranged with their supervisor. Shop area, parts room and tool room cleaning and organizing are the primary duties. Some repair and maintenance of shop equipment would be expected. Assembly or upgrading of instructional training aid occasionally.
Skills
There are some physical demands such as lifting and carrying moderate amounts of weight, reaching, bending and climbing. Some basic skills using hand tools and shop equipment. Flame cutting and welding will be necessary, but we will train as needed. Fork life operation is mandatory. We will train and award an operators license for this.
