Refinishing II
This advanced course in collision repair course covers the preparation and application of a variety of coatings ranging from two component prime coats, basecoat/clearcoat, and tri-coat pearl finishes used on current Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) vehicles. Students computerize color mixing using digital scales as well as demonstrating the process of baking a finish to duplicate OEM quality standards in refinishing. This course is part of the Collision Repair program which is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). Prerequisites: CRTS 1100 and CRST 1112. |
