Application for admission to the Nursing Program is a separate process in addition to being admitted to the College.

Part-Time Evening (Spring 2024) Program Application Status: CLOSED

  • Spring 2025 PN part-time evening program application will be available July 1, 2024.

Application Criteria

    • Prerequisite courses have to be completed with a grade of “C” or higher before starting the nursing program (see the “Course List” tab above for a list of these courses).
    • ATI TEAS (in-person test) within 3 years of the program application period with a score at or above 40.7%. The TEAS exam report must be submitted with the program application, prior to the application deadline.
    • Must be active on the CNA registry (any state is acceptable) before starting the nursing program.
    • Important Notice: Upcoming changes to the practical nursing application criteria effective June 1, 2022.

      Starting with the June 1, 2022 application window, all applicants must have all program prerequisites completed at the time of application. This means that the courses below have to be completed with a grade of “C” or higher before students can apply to the program:

      • BIOL1030 Human Biology
      • PSYC1240 Developmental Psychology
      • ENGL1101 Composition I or ENGL 1102
      • One Credit Elective
      • Active on a Nurse Aide Registry

    Admission is based on in-person TEAS exam score
