Application Criteria

    • ATI TEAS (in-person only) within 3 years of the program application period with a score at or above 40.7%. ATI TEAS by ATI Testing online version is no longer accepted. The TEAS exam report must be submitted with the program application, prior to the application deadline.
      • The TEAS test is offered on our Riverland campuses. View more information about the TEAS test. 
      • Important Notice: Beginning with Fall 2025 nursing program cohorts, Riverland will be requiring the HSRT test (in-person) and moving away from use of the TEAS test. The HRST test must be in person, online testing is no longer accepted. More information will follow.
    • Must be active on the CNA registry (any state is acceptable) before starting the nursing program. The documentation must be submitted with the application.
    • All applicants must have all program prerequisites completed at the time of application. This means that the courses below have to be completed with a grade of “C” or higher before students can apply to the program.
