*Assist students, faculty and staff with searching for, locating, and checking out library materials (print and digital). Process new library materials, *Reshelve library materials and ensure they are in the proper order. Create and set up displays for library events and promos. *Scan and preserve historical documents for the Riverland archive. *Cross train in TLR Help Desk duties including responding to students, staff, and faculty with information related to the computer labs, troubleshooting user accounts, and report maintenance issues to TLR staff.
Student workers must have excellent customer service skills and be attentive to the needs of library users. They must be able to work in a quiet atmosphere and not disrupt students who are studying/researching. Strong computer skills are beneficial to assisting library users. Organization skills and attention to details is necessary. Students should be self-driven and able to work independently. Must be reliable and punctual.
