Criminal Justice - Public Safety Dispatch

CERTIFICATE, 17 CREDITS

This certificate is designed to familiarize students with a career as an emergency dispatcher.  The certificate will introduce students to all the different segments to the knowledge, skills, and abilities to have a successful career.  Through simulations students will experience the stressors, will learn de-escalation techniques and will be familiar with the types of technology that they will encounter in their career.  This certificate will prepare students to take the public safety dispatcher certification.
