Minnesota State Patrol Commercial Vehicle Inspection

This six-hour training prepares participants for Vehicle Inspector Re-Certification. Minnesota Commercial Vehicle Inspectors must renew their certification every two years to remain certified.

Who cannot attend the re-certification class?

Your certification has been expired for more than six months
Your certification is under revocation
You attended and failed the re-certification course and now need to retake the full certification course

Before you register: Make sure you still qualify for re-certification. If you do not meet the requirements above, you will need to complete the full certification course instead.

Motorcycle Safety

Riverland partners with the Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center to offer a strong motorcycle safety program. Together, we help reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities through quality rider education.

If you are age 18 or older and want a motorcycle endorsement, you must have a motorcycle permit before taking the course. After you successfully complete the Basic Rider Course, you will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation completion card.

Cancellation policy: Riverland may cancel a class up to one day before the course start date.

If Riverland cancels a class, you will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify Riverland at least 5 business days before the class starts to receive a refund.
