Tutoring Services--Online

The Student Success Center offers several options for online tutoring.

Live Online Tutoring with a Riverland Tutor using SCRIBBLAR!

To interact with your tutor face-to-face in real time, all you need is a computer with an Internet connection, webcam, and microphone. You will be able to collaborate and ask questions about course content, papers, homework, or assignments, with access to chat and an interactive white board. All you need is an Internet connection, webcam and microphone capabilities.

Scribblar is Riverland's web-based program used for real-time tutoring sessions.

  • Students are able to upload a paper directly to the white board. Your tutor can then review the document with you and give explanations to your questions.   At the end of your session you will also have the ability to save the whiteboard images and chat transcript.

Please take a few minutes to review the instruction document below to help prepare you for your session.  Once you have scheduled an online appointment with your tutor, you will receive an email with their room link and password.

Make your appointment by logging in to the Student Success Center Appointment Schedule. Just enter your StarID and password below. In the window to sign up you will need to choose "in person or online" tutoring.
