Riverland Theatre and Musics 8th Annual Alumni Show
The Secret Garden has enchanted children and adults alike since its publication in 1911. Orphaned in India by cholera, an 11-year-old Mary Lennox is sent to live in Yorkshire with her only living relative a reclusive hunchback and his invalid son. Their estate includes an overgrown garden. Flashbacks, dream sequences, a strolling chorus of ghosts and some of the most beautiful music ever written for the stage dramatize The Secret Gardens compelling tale of regeneration. A major Broadway hit, The Secret Garden is a musical treasure for children and adults.
