Set in an island paradise during World War II, two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. Nellie, a spunky nurse from Arkansas, falls in love with a mature French planter, Emile. When Nellie learns that the mother of his children was an island native, she’s unable to turn her back on the prejudices with which she was raised, and refuses Emile’s proposal of marriage. Meanwhile, Lt. Joe Cable denies himself the fulfillment of a future with an innocent Tonkinese girl with whom he has fallen in love out of the same fears that haunt Nellie. Both learn life is too short not to seize a chance at happiness. The beautiful and memorable score includes “Some Enchanted Evening,” “There is Nothing Like a Dame,” “Bali Ha’i,” and many more stage classics.

Nick is a single Italian American guy from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida. That doesn’t mean his family isn’t still in Jersey. In fact, he sees both sets of grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is routine until he has to tell them that he has been offered a dream job. The job he has been waiting for would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents. He tells them. Thus begins the hilarity and the schemes to keep him from moving to Seattle. A comedy for everyone – loaded with laughs every step of the way!

Starbuck, the rainmaker, comes to town to end the drought and maybe bring a little romance to Lizzie in this Jones and Schmidt musical based on The Rainmaker. Lizzie, the focus of this charming musical, is a spinster living on a ranch in the American Southwest. She has spent most of her life taking care of her widowed father and unruly brothers. Now there is a chance for romance. Will it be the shy and cautious sheriff File, or the dashing charismatic conman Starbuck? It is an all-American love story for the entire family. Originally on Broadway in 1963, the 2007 revival featuring Audra McDonald received 5 Tony Award nominations
