College Placement Test - Accuplacer Accuplacer/CPT is a computerized assessment test that will provide information about your level of skill accomplishment in reading, writing and mathematics. Assessing your ability in these areas will help you and your counselor or advisor determine the classes for which you may register. You will take the test on a computer and use the keyboard and mouse to enter your answers and supply other information. A test proctor will be available if you have any questions during the test. All questions are multiple choice. Tests are not timed so you can give each question as much thought as you wish. Your results will be available at the end of the test session. If you have earned a high school diploma or GED, these test results will not prevent you from being admitted to the college; however, low test scores may prevent you from registering for certain classes or courses. If you have not earned a high school diploma or GED, these test scores will determine whether you are admitted to the college. Students who do not do well on the Accuplacer/CPT may retest once during an academic year. The cost to retest is $15.00. Accuplacer Practice Tests or Study Guides
