Supporting Students who are Parents

Riverland Community College provides outreach, referral, and direct services to students who are pregnant or who have children. Riverland and our partner, Parenting Resource Center Inc., help student parents accomplish their educational goals while maintaining their health and well being.

Albert Lea Campus Student Services area  

  • Monday—Friday 8:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m.  

Austin Campus East Building Room C137

  • Monday—Friday. 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Owatonna Campus Student Services area  

  • Monday—Friday 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

Parent "Lunch & Learn" Events

Free weekly lunches include presentations and discussion on great topics like parenting tips and managing stress. Join other students to gain support in balancing school, family and work.

  • Owatonna, Monthly: dates to be announced

Gas and Grocery Gift Card Program

  • Earn points when you participate in activities and discussions. Each point equals one dollar.
  • Redeem your points for grocery and gas “gift” cards. Points are totaled twice a semester.
