Earn SMSU Degrees on Riverland Campuses

Southwest Minnesota State University offers classes at convenient times and locations on the Riverland Community College campuses for the following majors:

• Bachelor of Science - Business Administration/Management Concentration
  • A.A. degree required
• Bachelor of Applied Science - Management Major
• • The degree is a four-year baccalaureate degree with a strong occupational component.
  • A.S., A.A.S., or a two-year diploma required

As a result of our partnership with Riverland Community College, Southwest Minnesota State will recognize the following Riverland classes as upper division credits

• ACCT 2011 Prin. of Financial Accounting
• ACCT 2012 Prin. of Managerial Accounting
• BUSA 1065 Microcomputer Applications
• STAT 2021 Business Statistics
• ECON 2291 Macroeconomics
• ECON 2292 Microeconomics
• and specific health and wellness courses (please see Site Coordinator)

There are other specific Riverland classes that will fulfill Major and Graduation requirements for Southwest State.

• Mondays, Austin and Albert Lea 4:00 - 6:30 PM
• Mondays, Austin and Albert Lea 7:00 - 9:30 PM
• Weekend class - 3 weekends a semester
