Emergency Medical Care

CERTIFICATE, 16 CREDITS

Riverland’s Emergency Medical Care (EMC) Certificate prepares students for careers in Basic Life Support ambulance services. The program includes hands-on clinical ride-alongs, Spanish communication training for EMS, and eligibility for National Registry EMT certification. Graduates are equipped for EMT roles in various healthcare settings and can continue toward advanced certifications like paramedic or trauma life support.
