Excel - Working with Views
In this class, the student will learn how to create, display, and print custom views; work with the view menu, view multiple sheets or workbooks at the same time, and learn about full screen and zoom. Excel 2003 Part 1
This course is designed to get you up and running with a spreadsheet program. Course goals covered will include using the AutoFill feature, creating a workbook, entering data, formatting that data, working with ranges, creating formulas and functions, copying and moving data, formatting columns & rows and numbers & text. You will also learn how to use the autoformat feature and how to print your spreadsheet, among many other large worksheet tools. Cost: $170 plus $35 for materials. Trained Medication Aide
This 48 hour course is designed to train unlicensed personnel to administer medications in a variety of health care settings. It includes the study of legal requirements concerning drugs and drug administration. General information about medications, terminology related to medication administration and use of reference sources will be studied. Students will learn actions, usual dose, toxic symptoms and special considerations of a variety of drugs. The course is designed to meet the curriculum standards established by the MN Board of Nursing for the training required to become a Trained Medication Aide (TMA). You can choose either location for training. Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays of the listed dates. Cost for this course: $360.00 Please call for a registration form.

Trained Medication Aide Refresher
This four-hour course is designed for Nursing Assistants who hold a certificate in Medication Administration for Unlicensed Personnel and are currently working as a Trained Mediation Aide. Participants will be updated on current commonly prescribed LTC medications. This is a wonderful refresher for those TMAs who have not attended a program for one year or more.
