This course introduces students to a variety of leadership traits and styles. Students will analyze and become familiar with a variety of leaders, both traditional and contemporary. Students will participate in an in-depth analysis of their own leadership styles and identify their strengths and weaknesses. Attention will be focused on developing their own leadership styles and on learning techniques to foster growth in other?s leadership capabilities. Students will be encouraged to apply their leadership skills on the job and receive feedback. Additionally, students will be introduced to strategic planning processes and encouraged to apply their leadership skills to such a process. (2Cr - 2 lect, 0 lab) This class meets on Monday evenings.
