RCGSA - Bridging the Gap

The RCGSA is open to all students, faculty, and staff who are interested in supporting and advocating for the GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning) community.

WHO we are:

We are students, we are faculty, we are staff, we are people of all sexual orientations.

WHAT we do:

We actively support the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning population; advocate for respect, dignity, and basic rights for everyone, regardless of sexual identity; and we educate the college & its communities regarding these issues.

WHEN we meet:

We try to meet twice each month during the school year and once each month during the summer. Contact us for information.

WHERE:

We meet at Riverland Community College-Austin, but are active throughout the entire Riverland service area.

WHY you should join us:

To support and advocate for the GLBTQ community; to educate the public at large to bring an end the discrimination, condemnation, violence, and hate that GLBTQ persons face on a daily basis.
