This program will orient students to the basic principles of the Patient Care Associate (PCA) environment. Students will become familiar with the role and working environment of the PCA, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. An introduction to the core tasks and specific department needs will be presented for learning development. This program will also enable students to intensify their skills needed to operate effectively and efficiently in the clinic setting.
