Associate in Applied Science Degree

Program Starts:

The Associate in Applied Science degree (64 credits) is awarded to students completing an approved program offered at Riverland Community College. This program will include no less than 21 semester credits of general education courses and the entire program will include 64 credits.

Twenty of the credits, defined as intended for transfer, should be in liberal arts and science within the four categories of Communications, Humanities and Fine Arts, History and the Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics/Logical Reasoning as identified within the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum requirements.

ENGL1101 is a degree requirement. At least three credits must be completed in each category. A minimum of one credit from Physical Education or Health and a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 is required for graduation from Riverland Community College.
