Riverland Law Enforcement is a cooperative program with Rochester Community and Technical College and is accredited by the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training Board (POST). Students who complete the Associate of Science degree and an approved Skills training program through a POST provider will be eligible to test for Peace Officer licensure. Following successful completion of this program, our graduates can secure good jobs throughout the United States.

Further Education: This program also establishes the groundwork for further education to obtain a Bachelor’s degree or higher.


Employment Outlook

Hiring agencies include, but are not limited to, municipal police departments, county sheriff’s departments, Minnesota Highway Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, state and federal prisons as well as with private security agencies.
