Do you want to be part of the fastest evolving field of network security?

Network Security is one of the biggest challenges facing our country today. The need for highly-trained network security specialists is at an all time high as network technology continues to be an integral part of our everyday lives. This Riverland two-year program will prepare you for technical positions in this fast-evolving field.

You can count on individual attention from our highly-qualified instructors. Your courses will focus on the development of technical competency in the configuration and maintenance of security hardware and software at the desktop, server and network layers. Our graduates will have a broad understanding of computer and information security concepts to enable them to create, implement and enforce the network security policies required by today’s globally inter-networked technology infrastructure.

The curriculum for this degree is optimized to contain minimal pre-requisites in order to create opportunities for entry by the broadest set of potential students. The courses help prepare students for the following network industry standard certifications, Comp TIA A+, Comp TIA Security+, SAIR/GNU and LPI Linux Security.

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
Cisco Wireless LAN Support Specialist
Cisco Firewall Specialist
CSPFA (Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced)
MCNS (Managing Cisco Network Security)
CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional)
And further network security study
