This course offers a comprehensive overview of technologies, security and design best practices. As with existing courses offered by the Cisco Networking Academy, this program will combine hands-on experience, instructor-led training and e-learning for students. Students will learn to: design wireless networks; configure and install wireless access points, bridges, adapters, and antennae; troubleshoot wireless network design and configuration problems using CLI and Web-based Device Manager; configure security and authentication using MAC filtering, WEP, LEAP, EAP and 802.1x technologies.

It will prepare you for electrical engineering or computer and management information systems degree programs. It will also prepare you for the Cisco Wireless LAN Support Specialist Certificate.
