This Riverland program prepares you for employment as a receptionist/clerk. The role of a Receptionist involves handling telephone calls, greeting visitors and determining their needs and scheduling appointments. Duties for both receptionist and clerk may include keyboarding documents, sorting and distributing mail, posting information to records, using electronic mail and maintaining calendars, filing and retrieving documents.
Receptionists and clerk typists must be able to use a wide variety of automated office equipment such as microcomputers, calculators, typewriters, photocopiers, transcription machines, and switchboards. You can count on training by highly-qualified instructors in the excellent certificate program.
