Accident Reporting Procedure

It is required that all persons (i.e., Students, Visitors, Volunteers, Off-Duty Riverland Employees) and any other persons injured on Riverland Community College properties to report the injury promptly to a Riverland employee. Note: “Instructors who receive notification from a student claiming an injury/ illness that results from the participation in program activities will also immediately report the incident to their Dean of Academic Affairs.”  Reported non-occupational related injuries/ illness (no matter how minor), must be reported by the employee to Human Resources within 24 hours of the incident occurring.
