Reporting Procedures for Harassment and Discrimination

Students and employees should feel free from harassment and discrimination of any form. Students and employees who believe they are victims of harassment or discrimination, or who are aware of or believe that other students or employees are being subjected to harassment or discrimination, are encouraged to report that situation immediately to the Affirmative Action Officer or Cindy Brimacomb-Whiteaker, 1900 8th Avenue NW, West Building, Room A137, Austin, MN 55912, 507-433-0529 or 1-800-247- 5039.
Investigation
The Affirmative Action Officer or designee shall promptly make arrangements to investigate the complaint and will request a written report of the findings. The investigation will remain as confidential as possible. Any person who has a complaint may follow the reporting procedure without fear of reprisal.
