Drug and Alcohol Education Programs

The purpose of this policy is to set forth the College's policy regarding alcohol and other drug use, including unlawful drug use or abuse in the workplace in accordance with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690, Title V, Subtitle D) and Drug Free School and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 (Public Law 101-226). A copy of the Drug Free Workplace information is available in the Student Service Center located in each building. In addition, Student Activities programming provide educational events to students.

The College will provide counseling and referral to students and employees who have identified a chemical or alcohol abuse problem. The College's primary objective is to return the student or employee to a productive status as soon as possible.
