Communicable Disease Policy
It is the policy of the College that students with communicable diseases not be excluded from attending College in their regular classrooms so long as the risk of transmission of illness to students or employees is negligible. Inclusion or exclusion from classes will be based on the following criteria:
- Educational implications for the student and others with whom he or she comes into contact
- Recommendations from the county public health agency
- Policies established by the MN Department of Education and the U.S. Public Health Service Centers for Disease Control.
