| All criminal actions occurring on Riverland campuses shall be reported immediately to the Human Resources Office or a Student Service Center. A college administrator or designee will assist in reporting the crime to the local police in a timely manner following receipt of the information. The Affirmative Action Officer may be reached by calling 507-433-0529 or 507-433-0666. The report will include information regarding date, time, description of the event and names of individuals witnessing and/or reporting the incident. If College personnel are not immediately available, the individual reporting the occurrence is encouraged to contact the police directly. In an emergency situation, the number is 911. For non-emergencies, the Albert Lea Police may be reached at 507-377-5205, the Austin Police may be reached at 507-437-9400, the Owatonna Police may be reached at 507-451- 8230. Campus crime statistics are available in the Student Service Centers, student handbook and are printed in each semester schedule/bulletin. |
