Services for you
Library Cards
The student picture ID card is your library card.
Students are required to have this card to check out library materials. This
includes reserve materials. These cards can be obtained free of charge from the
student services centers in all three campus locations.
On the side of
your library card without the picture, there is a 14-digit number
that begins with 20207. (Old Albert Lea cards may
begin with 20413 but they are still usable.) This is your
library barcode number. You also have a library password, your last
name. If you are a Riverland Community College
distance student and never get to any of the three campuses, please send an
email message to the Library or call either the
Austin Library at 507-433-0533. Be sure to give us your full name
and student identification number and we will mail a card to your home address.
Our database can be accessed with a library card number and password when you
are off campus through our proxy server access. See more information about our
proxy
server.
