Loan Periods & Renewing Library Materials
Loan periods
Items borrowed from the Riverland Libraries vary according to the type of material. For students: Books = 28 days with renewal allowed Videorecordings = 3 days with one renewal allowed Audiorecordings = 14 days with one renewal allowed Fines Daily fines are not charged for Riverland owned books, videorecordings or audiobooks but processing fees are charged if items are not returned in a timely manner. Overdue notices are sent to patrons as a reminder. Course reserve loan periods are established by faculty member placing item on reserve. A daily fine is charged for overdue course reserve items. Renewing Materials
Not all library materials can be renewed. The loan period information found in the preceding paragraph covers the materials that get checked out from our libraries.
Renewals can be made by:
using 'my account'
calling the library
email the library
Renewals are not always allowed for interlibrary loan (ILL) materials.
Course reserve materials cannot be renewed. |
